Cabinet building is a sub-set in woodworking. It requires different skills and knowledge. However, as any woodworker will tell you, it is worth the effort. The added expertise of built-in furniture or cabinetry adds an additional layer to your knowledge. Whether its fitting cabinetry in your kitchen, or adding a custom set of shelving that seamlessly fits into the design of a room, built-ins are special! This shelving was custom made by the homeowner in order to display his prized album collection in a media area. The alcove was built into the room, and is now waiting for the built ins.
Installation is a big part of built-in furniture, and having the right tools on the job site can make things much easier.
