Bosch SpeedXtreme bits have a full-head carbide tip up to 3 cm in diameter. This is twice the size of comparable bits. Bosch SpeedXtreme bits have a full-head carbide tip with a four-cutter design. This allows for a 180-degree cutting diameter, and 100 percent power transfer while drilling. The four 90-degree sides create a sharper and wider tip than other bits, allowing you to cut through tough materials like rebar with greater ease.
SpeedXtreme bits are manufactured with Boschs proprietary diffusion-bonding technology, which bonds carbide and steel at a molecular level. This precise, high-heat, and high-pressure solid state welding process produces jobsite-proven bits.
A four-flute design for SpeedXtreme bits makes drilling inconcrete fast and precise. The four flutes pull dust away from the concrete, keeping the bit tip cool and extending bit life.
