We were delighted to discover that Harbor Freight had just launched the Bauer 20V cordless tool series. It currently includes 3 tools. New tools include a cordless.
The list of new tools can be found on the back of current Bauer 20V tools. They also include a small image that is more like a colorful drawing than anything. We discovered that the Harbor Freight Bauer-20V tools were clones from the Powerplus UK brand. I also noticed that Powerplus had additional 20V tools that are identical to the ones on the back of the Bauer20V kit boxes. Below are the specifications and pictures.

As you can see, the pictures are very similar to the one on the back of the Bauer 20V kit packaging. This gives us a good idea of what to expect in the new Bauer 20V tools and you can even look at the specs as a reference point of what also to expect in the new Bauer tools. The Powerplus 20V is a different tool.
Another thing to point out is the circular saw is basically the same unit from either brand except that the Powerplus model has a rear vac port in the upper blade guard while the picture of the Bauer model does not. It’s not surprising, as vac ports are a UK feature and don’t exist on France-made circular saws. Sucks for us though as I would love this feature on my circular saws for dust free cutting.
